Our Offer

Our price is for a five year franchise, renewable without a fee being payable for a further five years.

This offer includes; the agreement, the start-up package, training, and marketing support. If you wish to renew your franchise at the end of ten years you may do so for a modest fee and signing a new agreement.

THE TOTAL CASH PRICE IS
£16,785 + £2,937 VAT = £19,722

FRANCHISE LOANS
We have very good relations with the three high street banks that have strong franchise experience: HSBC, NatWest and the Royal bank of Scotland. They can offer loans of up to 70% of the cost.

THE SMALL FIRMS LOAN GUARANTEE (SFLG)
The banks however need security, normally a freehold or long leasehold property. If you do not have such assets the SFLG can help. We can introduce you to SFLG advice, if appropriate.

CREDIT CARDS
We accept major credit cards for all or part of any fees. There is a 1.75% surcharge. Charge cards are surcharge free.

REDUCING THE UP-FRONT COST
The licence giving you the right to operate our franchise represents almost half of the overall cost of joining us. You can however acquire the licence on a rent-to-buy basis. You will than simply pay a fixed rental fee of £50 per week. The up-front package price is thus reduced dramatically:

£7,390 + £1,293 VAT = £8,683

PAYING THE VAT
Whichever way you pay, you are entitled to get all the VAT back in the first quarter after start-up. We will show you how. Banks will usually offer a VAT loan to new start businesses separately from any other borrowings.

ON-GOING COSTS
Garments must be purchased on a regular basis; we therefore want you to be sure you are getting a fair price for yourself and your customers. We therefore give you a legal guarantee that garment prices will not increase except in line with the Retail Price Index plus any fluctuations between the UK Pound and the US Dollar.

At the end of a second successful year we would ask you to contribute 1% of your turnover to an advertising fund, to be spent entirely on promoting the business.

OTHER COSTS
You will need to provide a car, which needs to be in good order. A cell phone is essential.

Over the years some tailoring concepts have drifted over to Europe from the USA – the land of personal service. However there is no national UK service and no-one with our history, our quality or our value for money offer.
